Grants – First Timer
In 2017, JCI Ireland will give a grant of €400 per applicant to contribute towards registration fees for up to 4 eligible first timers. The grants are made available from JCI Ireland to make it as easy as possible for members to attend and also to defer some of the costs associated with attending the conference for JCI members attending for the first time. There are some conditions to applying for the grant, which are listed below:

Amount: €400
Eligibility: any member of JCI Ireland who has never attended a JCI World Congress.
Conditions:
- Any JCI Ireland member applying for the Grant is expected to attend at least 2 training events during the World Congress.
- This must be the members first time at World Congress and they must not have received the grant for World Congress in a previous year
- Following attendance to the World Congress, the member is expected to submit a short video/blog post showcasing his/her experience at the Congress no later than 2 weeks after the Congress.
- The member must register, pay and attend the conference. Grants are reimbursed to the member after returning home and submitting their report as above
- The deadline for the submission of the application form below is: Fri 13th October 2017
- Applicants must have letter of recommendation from their local President (the text is submitted through the application form).
- Applications will be reviewed and allocated by the JCI Ireland National and Deputy President 2017
- The selected members to receive the grants (pending post-conference submission) will be announced by Fri 27th Oct 2017.
* A JCI Ireland member can receive a max of 1 of any type of International Grant (for either European Conference or World Congress) per calendar year.

Grants – Debating Team
In 2017, JCI Ireland will give a grant of €225 per applicant to contribute towards registration fees for the three members of the JCI Ireland Debating team. There are some conditions to applying for the grant, which are listed below:

Eligibility: member of the JCI Ireland Debate team for World Congress
Conditions:
- Any JCI Ireland member applying for the Grant is expected to take part in debating as a member of the JCI Ireland debate team.
- Any JCI Ireland member applying for the Grant is expected to attend at least 2 training events during the World Congress.
- Following attendance to the World Congress, the member is expected to submit a short video/blog post showcasing his/her experience at the Congress no later than 2 weeks after the Congress.
- The member must register, pay and attend the conference. Grants are reimbursed to the member after returning home and submitting their report as above
- The deadline for the submission of the application form below is: Fri 13th October 2017
